the school year has ended... officially. but we still have to go back for extra lessons and those crap. piles of holiday homework up ahead... not just maths this time, but across all subjects. thursday was classroom cleaning.. probably an annual thing that happens every last day of sch. didn't bring my rag home coz it was all blackened. we all had later recess than the others cos we cleaned the classroom damn thoroughly.. haha. form teacher gave each of us a magnum ice-cream... after recess we had to skip our movie for chinese extra lessons. as usual no one really paid attention but i did some self-marking and my paper2 is still as bad as ever i guess. need to brush up on my li jie... ms chia came in and gave me, yiwei and danny soccer jerseys for the extra work we passed up. was wondering what the number thing was all about all these while. so its for this. REUBEN 45. on friday went back for extra chinese lessons from 8-10. then after that went to j8 with guokai. my chicken+spaghetti took like forever to arrive, by then guokai finished eating already -_-. after that went back home... left house at around 12.30 again and reached imm at around 1.45pm for the s.h.e auto session. got the album, dun go like abit wasted hor. got my friends to chope place for me. played daidee for quite a while. but never win zz. got my auto at 8+... then took a cab home... reached home in only 15mins! anyway here are some of the pics of friday...      saturday was relatively boring. passed the tong le hui tixs to justina cos i can't go on sunday. then went thomson plaza with mum and sis. tmr is chinese Os already.. sian... and what have i done to revise? nothing much so far. that elusive A1... will i be able to get it? then there's extra maths lesson after chinese tmr. just when we thought we could enjoy. anyway planning to go watch death note tmr with my friends. haha. hope to get my bf2142 soon!

so script check is over. yet there's still so many things up ahead... chinese Os is just a week away.. 但是感觉上还没抵达终点就已放弃了。一位C5学生如何在一个星期内变成A1学生？！ maybe i'm just trying too hard. just hope that in a week's time a miracle will happen... this year seems to pass by so quickly. january, february.... october. it's that time of the year again. yet all of us know that it's not the end yet. we still have another year to go through. hopefully together. regrets? it's too late for that now. looking through my blog archive of previous octobers. last year i said i'd improve on my chinese. but i guess that didn't really materialise. sure, i'm not in any danger of failing. but now the target is higher; i wish a pass was enough but it's not, i need to get that A. looked through the old stuff in my com yesterday. reminded me of the sars era. where everyone was united and all.. and now what do we have? war. protests. demonstrations. not in the context of singapore of course, but in other countries. anyway whenever i think SARS i remember this song... 手牽手

last fri we went to watch 'an inconvenient truth' with the whole cohort... lol was quite rowdy in the cinema itself. at the end of the movie our dearest discipline teacher called us a bunch of monkeys... just when the credits flashed 'monkeyland'.......... after that went to yoshi with some of my classmates. finally settled my ipod casing on sunday =D....... as for monday, there was chinese lessons between 8am-10am. i think i'm gonna flung 报章报道 going by the way i wrote yesterday. oh well. i have this two weeks to buck up and hope a miracle happens two mondays from now. exams after exams. and this one i have to take it seriously? at 10.15-11.30 was maths lesson... we were taught sets. and i tell u i don't really get the concept. maybe cos its after the exams already and nobody really cares? after that was recess.. then we watched a korean movie 'joint security area'. the lead actress was the same one from da chang jin.. haha. and the movie at first was quite abstract, didn't really catch it, but got quite touching towards the end.... when ms chia had to stop it cos the sec2s were waiting outside. .. what really got us cracking was that colourful expletives could be seen in the subtitles... when are we gonna check our papers?~ i'm dying to check english right now because if i pass that... i'll be over the moon now.

so exams are finally over. no matter what happens i know that i have tried my best... so no point brooding over it for now. right after physics paper xuanyi, guo kai, leon, clement, jia sheng, jonathan, albert and i walked over to junction 8 to watch rob-b-hood... perfect way of stress relieving i guess... so guo kai bought like $56 worth of tickets and it was like one whole strip joined together. the movie was quite comical... and i sorta envy jackie chan who can do those stunts i can only dream about.~~ after the movie ended we ate lunch at food junction and then we parted ways. meanwhile i spent the whole of thursday at home. played a bit of the bf2142 demo... not sure whether i should buy it when it comes out, maybe i shld just concentrate on my studies first. lol. but bf2142 isn't really that much of an improvement over bf2. so yeah today is back to school. thats why i'm up so early. the whole cohort is going to watch a documentary 'an inconvenient truth' at junction8 later. it received rave reviews from the political pov, but i'm not too sure whether i'll like it. i thought they were gonna screen some nice movie, but when i saw the teacher-in-charge was our geog teacher, i knew this was gonna happen. oh well.

i hope i don't retain.. must get 47 for english to pass ~45 for chinese 42 for chem 48 for phy 60 for history 44 for comb humans 38 for e maths 42 for a maths shrugs. i better pass english... if not i guess i can only pass chinese chem comb humans e maths and a maths. history i doubt i can get 60. physics theres a possibility i can pass tmr~~..

four papers are gone.. so quickly. english compo was manageable but the compre was hard. chinese was a little tough. ss was an average paper but i think i screwed it up because i didn't have enough time. for a maths it's quite an okay paper, except that i don't know how to do a 10-mark question.. chem, geog elect, history pure, maths and physics left to go. i guess monday is gonna be flung-day.
